Block by Block Clean Up in Old West End

To help combat blight, Urban Beautification will canvass neighborhoods to collect bulk trash from residents' curbs for free. Crews will begin at 8:00 a.m. and finish at 1:00 p.m. Check out the map on the City of Toledo website to see the boundaries where crews will be collecting. Residents can place furniture, mattresses, tvs, computers, scrap wood, and yard waste at the curb. These events will not be equipped to collect household hazardous waste, but we do encourage residents to take those products to one of the Clean Toledo events for proper disposal.

'Ask Me Anything' with TMA Director, Adam Levine

The Old West End and the Toledo Museum of Art have enmeshed stories going back to their very beginnings. The best moments in that long relationship have come about through open dialogue and mutual trust. For this reason, TMA Director Adam Levine has offered a special, in-person AMA (ask me anything!) event for Old West Enders. Come join the conversation to ask about anything: Adam's vision for the museum and how it will affect the neighborhood, his thinking behind the TMA's collection, or his favorite food truck at the upcoming TMA Block Party. All questions are welcome.
