The Old West End Festival and the Parade Committee welcomes you to participate in the 2024 King Wamba Carnival Parade. The King Wamba Carnival Parade is the official kick-off of the Old West End Festival and will step off Saturday, June 1st, at 10 a.m.

Parade Details
Check in 8:30-9:45, step-off at 10 a.m.
Staging is first come first served, so the sooner you arrive at check in, the closer to the front of the parade you will be.
Parade Route: The parade route is 1.8 miles long and begins near Glenwood Elementary (Robinwood and Collins).
Check In Location: Corner of Nesslewood and Robinwood Avenues, adjacent to Glenwood Elementary School. Turn on Nesslewood from Detroit Ave. Look for signage.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, May 29th, 2024. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Fees: There is a $100 fee for Political Entries ONLY. (Elected officials, candidates and ballot issues only).
