Bring your power tools, yard tools, work gloves and your friends.

Volunteer time is critical to the project. Lots to do, so all skill levels are appreciated. Also great opportunity to learn skills from others.

Still looking for donations. Check your basements! Need a thermostat. wood cedar shingles, door handles, window hardware, anything else you think you have that would be usable in our renovations.

Our next Old West End Preservations meeting will take place on Monday, November 13th at 6:30 PM at the Ford Mansion located on Collingwood and Bancroft. We will have Judge Howe from the Toledo housing court at our meeting to discuss housing court issues related to the historic district. Please Park in the lot north of the Knight house entrance on Collingwood and look for sign.

October 21st at 10AM we will meet at 624 Delaware for a work day. We plan to do some salvage work at another property as well as working on some clean up work at 624 Delaware.

Salvage will be for hardwood floors and trim, so please bring with you: Cat claw crowbars, crowbars, carpenter hammers, cordless circular saw, cordless Sawzall, Flat shovels, gloves, mask , glasses or other safety equipment.

Everyone who goes to salvage property will be required to sign a release.

The Preservation Committee will hold their next meeting at the Ford Mansion at 2205 Collingwood Ave. at 7PM.

We will have two guest speakers from the Lucas County land bank, Home Preservation Initiative. They will have a 30-minute presentation on the program, which includes information home visits, free maintenance and renovation advice for property projects, contractor recommendations and access to low interest loans.

The 624 Delaware revitalization Project is having a workday on May 7th at 9 AM. Everyone is welcome.

We are working on removal of walls and lath for the construction carpenters can start work. A few things...

You must sign a release prior to entering the house.

We will have work gloves, mask, and safety glasses if you need them. some tools will be available but feel free to bring your favorite demo tools & extra buckets would be great for moving debris to dumpster

Many hands make for light work...bring extra friends with you!!! We will start at 9AM.

Hi Everyone interested in the 624 Delaware project and would like to donate some time. Now that its cooled off slightly, we are meeting on Tues the 31st at 624 Delaware to remove the unwanted vegetation from around the house and take down the chain link fence!

We will start @ 5 pm.

Bring chainsaws, loppers, shovels, rakes, gloves! We will have beverages available for all of the volunteers.

YOU MUST SIGN A RELEASE TO BE ON THE PROPERTY
