The Parade Committee is pleased to announce this year's King Wamba Carnival Parade Grand Marshals Dr. Carnel and Celeste Smith.

Dr. Carnel & Celeste Smith are proud residents of the Old West End. Dr. Carnel Smith is the current principal of Scott High School, where he has had the privilege of leading for the past 7 years.  Dr. Smith is a graduate himself of Scott High School. The Smiths currently have a son, Carnel Smith II, in Scott's Class of 2024. Celeste Smith is Chief Operations Officer with Here's My Turning Point, a behavioral health, substance abuse disorder center. Many from the community know Celeste from her previous employer Health Partners of Western Ohio where she played an integral role in the opening of the Old West End Community Health Center.
