Please join us for the September meeting of the Old West End Association with special guest Kevin McGruder, Ph.D. Kevin will guide us through a conversation on the impacts of gentrification in an effort for all of us to develop a shared understanding of it. The meeting will be tomorrow (Tuesday), September 21 at 7pm at 2492 Scottwood (OWE Community House).

Beginning this month, we will be testing out a new format for our monthly meetings that allots more time for discussion on topics relevant to the neighborhood and wider community, in accordance with our Strategic Plan initiative to increase engagement of neighbors as active participants.

Meetings are open to the public and residents of the Old West End are encouraged to join. Join to hear about the activities of the different committees and get involved in projects that are of interest….or start your own. OWEA is a group of volunteers working hard to improve and enhance life in the OWE.

Meetings are third Tuesday of the month and occur in the ARJA (Arboretum at Delaware & Robinwood) and also via ZOOM.
